She is well respected among her peers and a leader among her group. During her term on the IWIRC NY board, Ms. Repko led membership (growing by over 300% in two years) and substantive programming, hosting numerous NY based programs. Her crowning jewel was the creation of Pitch Perfect. The event had a team of junior professionals from different disciplines get together and present to the board of a fictional company and made up of more senior professionals from their corresponding industries. After the presentation, the "company" gave the girls real time feedback. It was direct, it was constructive, it was sometimes uncomfortable, and it was all the things one wishes one had as they were learning these skills. In true Ms. Repko fashion, this was not in your average conference room, the team pitched on the stage at Carnegie Hall. This event was picked up by multiple chapters around the world and is still running annually. Ms. Repko is a strong professional and powerful mentor.
